DISCLAIMER: This guide is more for F2P players with limited BTs. Going forward, I will give insights on why the unit is good or bad, so that you can make your own informed decision. Due to everyone’s own unique line-up, BT count, situation, new units and constantly changing meta, I will NOT be advising on pulling or not.
- All the SSR+s are strong in their own way. It’s a matter of which one you have to prioritize as an F2P
- The good news is that, it’s pretty much exactly the same as SSR+. It’s still using 4 Evo stones and 1 Awakening stone, and still requires BT to pull. The only change is that now we need the UR evo stones (red color) instead of the orange ones we have. Hence you have to use up all your SSR+ stones. There is an option to convert 2 SSR+ Stones into 1 UR stone, but at this time I’m not sure if that’s a one-time thing during the UR event, or you can exchange anytime. Guide here!
- As an F2P, it is too expensive to Awaken Passive 2 any SSR+/UR, I would recommend you pull multiple good SSR+/UR units than to AWK2 one SSR+/UR. However, it depends on your situation and if a particular unit is very good, so if you want to please go ahead. Do note you can continue doing so on the comeback banner if not enough BT (although not as ideal).
UR Gouketsu (Grappler/Monster) [Dragon]
Basic: Deals 120% ATK to a single target
Ultimate: Attacks enemies in a row with 2 consecutive strikes, dealing DMG by 800% ATK, first strike has 50% chance to inflict [Internal Injury].
———-
[Internal Injury]: Deals 600% Gouketsu’s ATK of Internal Injury DMG, disappears after triggering

[Detonate]: Single Internal Injury DMG of 300% turns into [Detonation] DMG
Awaken Passive: Grants himself and surrounding allies [Specialized Unyielding], and [Immune] to [Breakthrough]
———-
[Specialized Unyielding]: When allies receive Fatal DMG, enter [Specialized Unyielding]. Removes after 5 characters act, recovers 100% HP, each character can activate twice in the whole battle
Ultra-Ultimate:
ATK 800% > 1000%
Chance for Internal Injury 50% > 80%
Internal Injury DMG ATK 600% > 800%
Additional effect: Weakens the target (Decrease the target’s ATK by 50%, lasts for 2 rounds)
Extreme Passive:
Evasion 60% > 70%
Detonate single Internal Injury DMG 300% > 350%
5P Passive:
Evasion 70% > 80%
Detonate single Internal Injury DMG 350% > 400%
Awakened 2:
Grants the whole team Specialized Unyielding and Immune to Breakthrough.
SO WHY UR Gouketsu?
Pros:
- Very good support / utility unit for your line-up. His passive that gives Specialized Unyielding to surrounding allies acts almost like a Geryu core.
- Great for both PVE and PVP
- ‘Cheap’ to use, don’t really need to gear. Just throw him in the line-up for the passive utility.
- If you happen to get the KS, his ult does a 50% weaken on the target, which may be useful for certain scenarios, esp bosses or HxM
Cons:
- Not very useful if you don’t already have a strong DPS carry unit. AKA, he cannot carry you, but only delays your loss. Better to skip and wait for DPS (like UR FF)
- Better upcoming UR units, like UR FF, and especially UR CE (Core unit), so make sure you have enough BTs.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Good but upcoming units are better I feel. As F2P it’s always better to save up and focus on DPS and Core units, both of which are coming soon.
WHAT ABOUT KS?
Nope for F2P.
