DISCLAIMER: This guide is more for F2P players with limited BTs. Going forward, I will give insights on why the unit is good or bad, so that you can make your own informed decision. Due to everyone’s own unique line-up, BT count, situation, new units and constantly changing meta, I will NOT be advising on pulling or not.

  • All the SSR+s are strong in their own way. It’s a matter of which one you have to prioritize as an F2P
  • There is a different drawing mechanism. Here’s a guide on how that works!
  • As an F2P, it is too expensive to Awaken Passive 2 any SSR+, I would recommend you pull multiple good SSR+ units than to AWK2 one SSR+. However, it depends on your situation and if a particular unit is very good, so if you want to please go ahead. Do note you can continue doing so on the comeback banner if not enough BT (although not as ideal).

SKILL KIT

Basic: Deal 3 consecutive strikes to a single target, dealing 120% ATK
Ultimate: (No energy consumed) Attacks enemies in a row with 4 consecutive strikes, dealing DMG by 360% ATK. Grants [Specialized Acceleration] (Increases SPD of allies in the same row to 90% of Zombieman’s SPD, only when ally SPD is lower than expected), lasts for 1 round.
Passive: At the start of the battle, grants [Specialized Acceleration] (Increases SPD by 20%, if the main target’s SPD is lower than Zombieman, deals 500% ATK as Extra DMG).

Awaken Passive: Before battle begins, [Encourage] the allies (gains 2 energy at the start of the round, lasts 3 rounds). Triggers [Resurrection] after receiving fatal damage (When ally is present, recovers 60% HP before action, up to 3 times)

Ultra-Ultimate:
ATK 360% > 500%
Increase SPD 90% > 95%
Extreme Passive:
Increase SPD 20% > 25%
5P Passive:
Increase SPD 25% > 30%
Awakened 2: 
Encourage allies 2 energy > 3 energy
Last 3 rounds > 5 rounds
Trigger Resurrection 3x > 4x

GEAR

Suggested gear:

Stack SPD Gear, ideally 3x SPD bonus% for buff gears.


SO WHY SSR+ZBM?

Pros:

  • Mix of WDM and Sonic – you get increased row speed as well as +energy! +2/3 energy for 3/5 rounds is extremely strong
  • No energy ultimate is always good
  • Critical for PVP if you want to be competitive
  • Good filler duelist slot for your core if you don’t have anything better

Cons:

  • Super expensive to build as you need to stack a lot of SPD gear on him, as well as buy KS
  • Not exactly very useful for PVE/bossing in general, only in certain niche cases
  • UR Sonic just released in CN, who is also a speedster, so might make more sense to wait for him

FINAL THOUGHTS

ZBM+ is basically a PVP unit, and all whales should definitely get him. As F2P, using Sonic V2 is good enough. Even if you get ZBM+, you can’t compete with the speed of whales with max upgraded gears, so I would not recommend.
